Physically, it probably will.
Now think for a moment. Why did Oly make a converter that only fits a
few lenses? It would make much more sense to make one that fit all their
lenses, so they could sell lots more of them. The answer is in the
mindset of Oly designers in the OM era that focused on quality of the
results. They could only get the quality they wanted with protruding
front elements. Listees with both the Oly 1.4 and the Tamron SP 1.4
(which doesn't protrude) have said that the Oly is the better performer
on their long Tamrons, so it looks like Oly was right. Once that design
decision is made, lots of further design decisions are made based on the
focal plane location of the target lenses. The likely result with a tube
is vignetting and/or poor results.
But hey, try it and let us know.
