Oh? Who is offering 2-13s for $55? according to his website, John H. is out of
them. At $55, I'll buy.
Unless 2-13s are readily available, it seems the *bay price accurately
reflects that the Olympus screens are a) scarce, b) desirable, and c) worth
more than available Beatty screens at $86.
Mr. Ling very cannily gave the impression that there were only three 2-13
screens left for sale in the whole wide world, and he had already just sold
two. Then there appeared just one more, and it was snapped up at $129 (I
think.)
P.S. Does anyone know just what makes these screens bright? Maybe we can
brighten our 1 series screens by spraying them with PAM, or blowing on them
with a hair dryer, or immersing them in vibrating sturgeon roe for 108 days.
