If you're going to try this, I think you will have problems with the focus.
Fitting the tele (or wide) adapter lens onto an IS, the autofocus corrects
for the difference in the focus with v/s without. The rangefinder will not
be able to take this into account.
Add-on tele adapters (and wides adapters, for that matter) that I have for
Yashica and Petri, and add-on lenses for my Retina IIIc, have a two-row
scale on them. On one scale you find the "as rangefinder-focused" distance,
then you refocus by scale-focusing the lens to the other distance number on
the scale in order to correct for the add-on lens. Awkward in use, and a bit
fiddley...
If you try it, you'll probably have to work out the conversions empirically,
perhaps with a ground glass at the film plane compared with the rangefinder.
I don't know how you could calculate the difference factors - I think they
might be related to the relative focal lengths. Maybe someone else knows
more about this...? If you decide to try it, I would hunt up a 'universal'
viewfinder, Leica, Zeiss and Russian copies abound on e*ay...
