Not quite accurate.
Canon DSLRs apply slight sharpening in-camera, however this is far more
toned down than other DSLRs (and p&s). There are several different
settings for this if I recall correctly, -2,-1,0,+1,+2. 0 still has some
sharpening applied, otherwise exactly what is the use of -2?
