I'm very carefully, and very slowly -- it's been nearly two years
now -- rebuilding (not that it really needed it) a beautiful black
and gold Norton Commando. When I get through, it'll look and run
just like it did when I rolled it out of the showroom in October
of 1973. I hope.
The only bike I've got in riding condition right now is a 1974
Honda 550, still one of my all-time favorites. Great combination
of handling, power and smoothness.
And if I'm riding to Alaska, it'll be inside a very large SUV with
a whole lot more than one body and three lenses.
