Many failures are design flaws. Rather than fix the problem, management

Overwinds as in "applying pressure to the film advance after the film
reaches the end of the roll"?
As a new owner of an OM-4ti (not even arrived yet) I'll have to watch
for that.... Seems like a bit of a design flaw.
