Sounds like the camera has 2 problems: mechanical jamming and dead
electronics. The jamming could have been aggravated by the cold box,
allowing overwinding due to greased latches.
Even if the body is jammed, meter display should turn on. Make sure shutter
speed dial is not on B/60, use silver oxides only and make sure bottom cover
screws are tight.
