It seems Sean may have lost some of his stage acting chops. I went to
see The Late Henry Moss in SF and was disappointed that he was ill that
night. Nick Nolte was very good, Woody Harrelson a revelation and Cheech
Marin very good in the smallest part. The guy playing Sean's part was
really good too. At the intermission, we chatted with a couple of ushers
who were working the whole run. They said we were lucky, that Sean had
been really pulling the play down. They said this was only 1 of several
performances he had missed and theorized he was being 'ill' out of
embarassment. But heck, maybe they were only trying to make us feel better.
I wont be seeing these flicks until they come to a screen mear me on DVD
(except ROTK).
