I've been using Mailwasher Pro for over 4 months now, and I still get
around 700 spam e-mails a day. While its bounce function is a good one,
and I have nothing but praise for the program's functionality, many
spammers never even use return addresses that are real -- rather, it's just
a bogus address in the first place. They're into bulk e-mailing, *not*
checking the bounces to see whether the e-mails they use are "good." It's
just cheaper for them to squirt their pickle at every possible e-mail
address in the known galaxy. Checking bounced messages is labour-intensive
and therefore too costly.
