Handling. Sound. Viewfinder. Minimalistic controls that
provide near perfect interaction with the camera.
Last, but definitely not least: Constant metering in spot mode.
For handheld use, this is the killer feature.
Compared to the OM-2N, I like the OM-2S because:
1. Spot Metering
2. Mirror box metering (accurate readings with 2-x series
screen)
3. Fixed (as compared to FIX) hot shoe
4. Better OTF flash when balancing with ambient light.
5. Program mode. Don't use it much, but once in a while.
6. Auto on/off
One thing I've always liked about the OM-2S is the way I can
"program" a manual exposue with it and go back and forth between
this calculated exposure and auto-exposure with just a flip of a
switch. No PASM camera has this.
