Maybe there's a difference between both types of curtains on the OM-2...
Not sure if the OM-2n will behave in a different way. At such backlit
subjects, I dial some compensation or (often) switch to manual. I own an
old-pattern OM-2 and a couple of OM-2n; don't recall such differences.
Why do you prefer the plain OM-2 versus the 2n? I like the 2n because of:
-the smoother profile of the wind lever.
-its better very-low-light metering (longer exposures with high speed
films, which I frequently use)
-the 1/60 limit when underexposure of the TTL-flash.
