My general purpose camera is the M7 w/ a 35/1.4. When I go hiking or
something like that, I will put the 90/2 macro on the OM-4 and the 35 on
the M7. This gives me a nice balance of the POV/focal length and a macro
lens to boot, which comes in handy at times. 2 years ago, I would have
thought hiking around w/ just the OM-4T and the 90/2 to be too cumbersome
and heavy but I am getting used to this set up now. For the helicopter ride
(the Pu'u O'o series with the close up shots), I actually put the 180 with
a 2X converter on the OM-4T, thinking that we will be very far. I put a 75
on the M7 as an insurance. It turns out that we were so close that all the
the Pu'u O'o (the current vent) shots shown are done on the M7/75!
One of these days I will make a "travelogue" webpage with some of the
photos. Some interesting stories, facts etc. to tell...
