I got my first OM in my mid-20s, back in the mid-80s. :-) It was a
beautiful flawless black OM-1n which I had to subsequently sell as I landed
on Hard Times, but within a couple of years, I was back with an OM-4, a
100/2.0 and a couple of Tokina AT-Xs. By the late 90s, I'd acquired two
more cameras (a nearly flawless OM-1n chrome and an EX++ OM-2Sp), and a
bevy of other lenses, mostly in the 2.0 max aperture range.
But I've lusted after OM-series equipment ever since the line's
introduction in the early 1970s (when the best I could do was drool over
said equipment in shop windows...).
