Hi Gareth and Jez:
I second that. I have a Olympus 2Xa and a Vivitar 2X that was a tag along
when I bought a Zuiko 300/4.5. The Vivitar works well and can be used on
more lanses than the 2Xa (2Xa restricted to 100, 135, and 200 Zuikos). My
only caution is the 2 F stops lost. I would say if the telephoto is
important for you buy the 300 and go with a less expensive 2X converter.
