It's a datum/klockbakstycke Johan!

The rest of us know it as a Recordata Back 2.  Quoting from the eSIF "Dial 1
(right hand side) controls imprinting on the left side numbers (0..9) or
alphabets (A..Z).
Dial 2 imprints numbers(1..15) or years (79..98) in the second position from
the left.
Dials 3 and 4 imprint numbers (0..36) in the third and rightest position."
It connects to the camera via the flash sync socket.
