Say what?
Historically, Minolta has done extremely well with commercial
photographers that usually shoot medium/large formats. Granted,
they didn't do well with the sports and photojournalists
applications, but that has more to do with synergy than anything
else. But when a local pro stepped out of he studio and needed
the convenience of 35mm, he/she frequently had a Minolta in
hand.
Then, in more recent years... During the time N*kon F4 days, the
wildlife/sports pros were abandoning the the N*kon system and
going either C*non or Minolta.
Then, most recently, the Maxxum 7 and 9 provide exceptional
performance, features and ergonomics. I'm intrigued. Hey, it
can't be any worse than the A2.
Oh, and don't forget, a full suite of compatable Tamron and
Tokina glass...
Hey, anybody else notice the gold accents on the lens of the A2?
