Are you using any kind of filter for the b&w work? That might bring in the
sky a little. If you don't want that much of a change a UV filter helps a
little, or find one of the radioactive lenses. My 50mm/1.4 has a tint of
yellow to it that always gave my b&w work just a little punch.
Not a criticism, I wish I could regularly take such photos as are on your
site. What is your ratio of keepers to shots taken? In other words, how
many shots do you usually take to get the one picture of the week?
