I didn't know I was jumping ship, yet, although I've been shooting mainly 6x6
and the xpan lately, so..........
I would probably keep two bodies, the OM4T, as it is my regular OM body, and
one of my OM1's, just to make sure I have something when the display or
something goes out.
For lenses, I would probably keep the 21 over the 18, and certainly the 28 and
not the 24. I wouldn't keep my 35/2, but I might try several to cherry pick
(it;s too bad that the 35/2 wasn't Olympus' best effort, as that is a
wwonderful combination of speed and focal length). I would keep the 50/1.2 or
replace it with a MIJ 1.8. Like brother Gries, I wouldn't give up the 85 for
anything (In fact, my favorite Zuikos are the 21, 28, and 85. I could probably
live with just them!) I would also sell the 100, but keep the 135. Past that,
I'm not sure what I would do. A lot would depend on what I was doing digitally.
If I were to go to something that would take my wife's Nikon 80-400 VR lens,
then I would sell the 200, 300, and 500. If not, and if I had the Tamron 80-200
that I still am considering, I would keep it.
I would probably get rid of most accessories, including the motors (especially
if Abrahamson does a rapidwinder)and flash, except the T8.
But who's kidding whom? I'm not going anywhere.
