If the "Billingham Stalker Grip" looks as much like a weapon as the name implies you might have a tough time with airport security. I'll have to look into that device. I love the Leki poles. It's amazing how much load you can take off your legs by using the arms going both up and down hills. They also give a lot of stability when stepping over downed trees and stuff when wearing a pack. The poles have saved me a number of falls. -----Original Message----- From: olympus-owner@xxxxxxxxxx [mailto:olympus-owner@xxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Chris Barker Sent: Sunday, February 01, 2004 11:33 AM To: olympus@xxxxxxxxxx Subject: [OM] Re: Camera Bags I am saving myself for the summer for Tilley Hats Jim ;-). But it's about time I mentioned the CamCane again I think, except that now I have a Leki walking pole with a Billingham Stalker Grip attached to the top. I take this in my hold baggage since RyanAir managed to lose my CamCane last year between Knock (Ireland) and Stansted (north of London). But they have my custom again as they seemed to be the only airline which will fly to Shannon from Stansted - it's Co Clare for a short break in May.
