Yes, the +/- tab in the view finder tells you that you are using
exposure compensation.
The big dial with the +1, +2, -1, -2, asa window, and big white line
needs to have the line pointing directly across to the scribed line on
the viewfinder housing, or you will see that tab in the viewfinder.
P.S. Lift and turn the knob to change the indicated ASA. Then turn it
back to actually change the ASA setting in the camera.
