I am looking into making a rapidwinder for my OM-1n in the style of the
Leica or Bessa.
I shoot with my left eye and have always had the problem of taking the
camera away from my eye to advance the film. I have a motor but like the
quite of manual advance.
I was hoping for some input on design from people who have used the
aformentioned winders, or just want to put in their 2 cents. I am hoping to
have to avoid purchasing a winder to copy.
Manufacturing is not a problem, as we have a machine shop that does a lot of
minute detail in bar stock aluminum.
Just like fiddling with this stuff for my own purposes, but if other cameras
can use them, why not the Oly? It does not appear that it would be that
difficult, and I believe that it would enhance the OM-1n.
Regards,
Paul K.
