Well the latest digest just rolled in and as an exercise I culled out
the actual posts from the chafe. Here is the result. Digest as received
135kb. Actual posts OT or not, 46kb. Since I included most of the
headers (and the tamale and haggis posts :>) that latter figure is
conservative. So it appears that the "meat and potatoes" such as they
are account for about 1/3 or less of the digest.
