I was also thinking, Mark, of all the times when the kids, and there are
many of them :-), would want to see their face on the screen of the C5050,
and so I'd end up filling the cards with multiple faces for that reason
alone. Of course I suppose they could be deleted, but it is a bit
expensivepiece of gear for kids to be tugging on. I remember one time being
in a remote village, and the kids were fascinated with the flash. I had to
flash that thing in their eyes a dozen times each I think. They were lining
up for the chance, and they were still asking for more when I had to walk
away. Don't know if they ever saw without spots again. Thankfully I had a
test flash button, and spare batteries. Things they never see fascinate
them.

Well, I won't be doing any risky rafting, either there or anywhere else :-)
The thing I like about the XA was it was sooo quiet. Why did I sell mine?

Never had a 50/1.4, but I've never found the 50/1.8 to be much of a limiting
factor for me.
