One of my thoughts also was that the potential for improved AA's is more
likely in my opinion than an improved battery for the C5060. At any rate, I
suspect there will be batteries available for the C5060 at least for a
couple years. Maybe that is about the life expectancy of these cameras
anyways.
Another point is, I think the C5060 dropped the capacity for one of the
memory cards which the C5050 takes. The card is not needed, but it
reinforces how quickly the technologies are changing. But I think AA's will
be with us for quite a while.
