I didn't want to participate in this discussion at first, I have no
preference in using either AA or proprietary battery but the BP511 in 10D or
similar only quote 650 shoot by C*non. I believe I never get over that with
normal use may be you will get over 1000 if you just trip the shutter
without playing a bit before each shoot and without review the shots
occasionally during the shooting session. With my 10D I believe I get around
400-500 shoots if I can shoot 200-300 a day (but I rare get the chance). Ok,
recently I got the chance of shooting over 200 a day for a few days and each
last for around an hour http://www.accura.com.hk/GL/GL.htm.
