I thought some of you might find this private email entertaining.....
Must you Tom ;)
Well I guess you people have more mercy than God himself or I should
look up for the flying grenade.
As far as George's question of "what make the OM4Ti rare I would have to
say it's the fact that when on the street you rarely see one at work.
And of course it's a selling approach along with the word I hate, "mint"
because the word should be reserved for coins and chocolates.
And Chris Barker being the previous owner was right about some very tiny
braising but I had to hunt to see it and should have been described as
in excellent condition status. But it's on its way to Connecticut then
to Taiwan.
I do notice it's much easer now getting a successful sale over seas
because of there limited supply of good cameras. I think this is the
reason.
The connection between the chat page and my OM's leave me a bit sad in
memory and I will make you happy by moving on soon to the "Canon 2004
1D" after the PMA show this coming February.
I'm not happy with what Olympus has done commenting to the 4/3 system
but they didn't have much of a choice with the gap they had in there
past line.
After seeing the result of the present 1D and of course the 1Ds camera,
film is truly dead and being a stick in the mud 35 mm person this was
not an easy decision.
Read this; What Will Happen in 2004?
http://www.bythom.com/2004predictions.htm
This was the reason for my huge sale of about $3000 worth of gear that
will not quite get just the 1D body. But what a wonderful choice of lens
Canon has for them.
There more like on topic ;)
