The $80,000 invested in the stock market would grow, if it returned the
historical average of the past 60 or 70 years, to about $640,000 over the next

years. Because of inflation it might be worth perhaps $320,000 in current
dollars, which is much better than a jab in the eye with a sharp stick. The
Leicas would collect dust and perhaps appreciate slightly, but are not an
investment.
OM content (to keep this on topic) - Invest time in using your OMs, enjoy
them and the images you produce. Get to know your cameras and yourself and
although you may not have the $640,000, your soul will be fed for a lifetime
and
you will touch others in a way which is priceless. Have a wonder holiday
