I had hoped to find some bargain lenses in the EOS world as I did in the OM
world, especially in the ultra-wide range that's going to be important when I
get the digital Rebel. Today I read up on T-mount lenses on the 3rd party
site. They said that the Spiratone 18mm, if labeled "f/3.5" is actually....
wait for it....
a Tokina 17mm f/3.5. I found one today at <classified>. I already have a $15
T-mount for the EOS, left over from the aborted Zuiko -> EOS body adapter idea.
Today I have a sober question for the assembled multitude: Is there anyone
present who sees why this lens, and that mount should not be joined together to
form a $115 holy bargain?
Speak now, or forever hold your peace.
Psyched, I remain,
Lama
Yeah, I know it will never auto-focus. I know.
