The equivalent Minolta MC unit is different and a lot better -
doesn't need a cable release and has a great focussing mount. The
rest seem pretty identical.

What you would like to do is clear. I believe all the bellows from
Japan for 35mm cameras are made by the same manufacturer. If so,
there is no need to mount uprights from one to another, as the
camera mount on the rear simply comes off when the screw that holds
it is loosened. So the camera mount from a C or N unit could be
attached to an Oly unit and you have what you want.
The next question is whether this is cost effective, considering
that you need to buy another bellows. The other solution if you are
going Can*n is to get the OM to EOS adapter and mount it on the OM
mount on the back of the bellows. The advantage of that would be the
ability to use other OM lenses without the bellows.
