Best I know Johan, the QA 310 will couple as a manual flash with anything,
but only the OM-2 can accept the necessary Shoe 2 to enable TTL auto flash.
Presumably it can also provide non-TTL auto flash with any camera.
The Trip 35 would fire the flash, but there would have been no way for TTL
auto control to work.

Subject: [OM] Quick Auto 310 w. cord
Hi there!
Whats the true deal with Quick Auto 310 in large and the cord marked "TTL
Auto Cord Shoe 2 Only".
I have this combination and have never used the cord as I don't have a OM-2.
Have only used the QA 310 alone. But I just checked if the flash fires with
any any other camera using the cord. So I connected the cord to my Trip 35
and, well the flash fired.
So does this mean that I can use this cord? Is it dangerous to my OM-1:ns?
To my OM-4?
The thing is that the QA 310 has a bad shoe (or is that feet as the shoe is
on the camera) and I was thinking of getting a cheapo grip, some tape and
make a flash on a grip.
