The 28/48 was the first lens I bought new. I love it. Not the fastest of
lenses, and could do with a few mm more on the wide end but still a good
performer. I prefer its two touch design and it gives me good results at
12"x10" using b w film. I keep it attached to a camera at all times and if I am
travelling light I will take it along with either a 100mm f2.8 or 24mm 2.8.
Perhaps results from a prime would be superior BUT it is so convenient to
use...It is ALWAYS the first lens to pack!
