Interesting, but the article says the E-1 is the first OLY digital SLR.
What about my D-600l?, or the D500l? Aren't these SLR's, tho with a fixed
zoom lens?

The IS series were sometimes called ZLR's - your technically right
(SLR as distinct from TLR) but there's a convention at work here.
He does make an error though, from memory, referring to the Canon 1Ds
and the Kodak whatsit as the only full sensor size bodies. What about
the Contax N? (released 2000!)
