Precisely. Show me blow ups of your focal points - not of the
out-of-focus areas of two lenses with different depths of field.
I'd refer you to this group of images, all but the last four of which
were shot with the 14-54 zoom. The last four, the two leaf shots, the
frond, and the cat, were shot with the 50 f2 macro. No softness problems
what so ever. No contrast, resolution problems. BTW - you do realize I
assume that you may have different contrast settings for the E-20 and
E-1? And I'm not just talking about whether each is set at 0, or 1, or
whatever, but the fact that 0 in one isn't 0 in the other...
