Well now, in spite of my having the OM-1 along, the Jeep had a dead battery
and two flat tires. I should have stopped for some photography on the way up
as there were a couple of nice scenes with geese and swans in the river with
lacey ice around the edges. I planned to stop on the way back down but it
was totally dark by then. My thermometer showed a low reading of -26 but I
think it reads a little low. We have about 8 inches of snow now but need
about 150 more to call it a good winter. Didn't see the wolf...not even any
tracks. Last time I was there we had cougar tracks in the yard. I have a
couple more days of work there then it's time to go for playing in the snow.

How do you get an OM-1 to help a rascal Jeep start in the cold? The
versatility of OMs is amazing !! I hope it self-records what it does there.
Minus 22 already, and that's Fahrenheit. Thank goodness it's coming on to
summer here.
