Piggybacking on Moose's #1: To set the diopter, remove the lens and gently pull the stem (like a watch stem). Dial it until the display is clear then push it back in. After a CLA from a different repair shop the diopter on my OM-4 was dialed all the way in one direction; it was not centered.
