There was another leak in the OM-1. Under the main wind mech there is a
gear plate (2 gears) held to the body with 3 screws. Some bodies only had 2
screws. Light would go in through the counter window, around the counter,
through the screw hole and strike the film on the takeup spool.

Yep. One, at least, allowed light to leak through the red window on
the front of the body, so giving a trace of red fog. (Well, it would,
wouldn't it :-)
We took ages to figure this one out.
