I had good luck (?) with the Bogen E-6 kit for both Ektachrome and Agfachrome.  
Results were consistent, but I was meticulous about measurements, maintaining 
temps, time, etc.  No, I don't necessarily "recommend" it, but at the time it 
was beneficial.
