One of the things to get used to on the 5700 is the electronic view
finder. It works, but you don't get that flush of esthetic pleasure
when you look at a really nice shot through it. A little grainy and low
contrast for that. Surprisingly it washes out in bright sunlight like
the one on the outside, but not as bad. I figured out that the reason
it washes out is that your eye is accommodating to the bright light and
that affects the view of the one inside the camera as well as the one
outside. You find yourself cupping your hand around your eye to block
the side light sometimes when taking a picture. After using one for a
while and picking up the OM4T I was shocked at how clear and pretty the
viewfinder was. But the images out of it are great.
