Carlos, I don't have a 10D to compare but I suspect the 10D allows more
metering options. The 300D works best for me in 'P' mode. I set the ISO,
focus wide open with the Zuiko, then while I'm stopping down I watch the
shutter speed reading in the viewfinder until it drops to where I want it
to be. In 'M' and 'A' modes, I'm unable to set the aperture reading on the
camera but I can set the shutter speed. The viewfinder on the 300D is not
as bright as the 10D but I find it adequate for manual focusing. The 10D
is a more sophisticated camera but the 300D fit my budget better. Here are
