Hi there Boris,
As best as I understand it the 2-xx series screens should physically fit in
the other single digit bodies (1-2-3-4) as the majority of the 1-xx screens
work in all four. Though I may be wrong on this as I have not yet got my
OM-4 (but that is not what we are talking about here). See the esif for
other compatibility issues with the 1-xx series.
The problem comes from where the meter is located in the OM-1(n) and the
OM-2(n). They take their reading from a point off the prism and thus are
post of the screen. The 3(Ti) and the 4(Ti) meters take theirs from the
below the mirror. They have semi-silvered mirror to allow some light
through. (If I recall correctly JH has more on this on his site in relation
to Beattie screens in OM bodies).
The 1-xx series for the most part have an equal effect on the meter reading,
but the 2-xx series allows more light through thus you get an incorrect
reading with the OM-1(n) and OM-2(n). Because of the deign differences
detailed above the 2-xx series are not compatible with the OM-1(n) and the
OM-2(n). You could get them calibrated to use the 2-xx series screens but
then you would not be able to go back to the 1-xx series without
re-calibrating again.
All of the above is only true for the single digit bodies that have
interchangeable screens. The double digit bodies do not have interchangeable
screens as part of their design and thus you can't use the 2-xx screens (at
least not without butchering them).
I hope this helps.

OK now...
You have been dying to get your hands on a 2-13 screen and I got interested
in it too.
Went to the esif and looked it. It told me that it does not work with OM1,
can someone elaborate a little further, please? I want one too.
OM1 and OM PC is all I got.
Danke very schone.
Boris
