One of the features/benefits of being a member of the Houston Photographic
Society is the opportunity each October to exhibit a portfolio of your work and
have it professionally critiqued. Much of what I have entered in our monthly
competitions has been nature and wildlife or flowers. What I have decided to
do for my portfolio is a series of black and white photographs, most of which
were taken during the meeting with other Zuikoheads in London this past
August. The portfolio is titled, "Streetwalking - Rediscovering B&W". I have
prepared my artists statement and more or less selected the images to be
included.
It will be less than 15 as that is the upper limit. Each of these will be
presented on the same size mat board and will have a window mount. Having
never
done this before, I wonder what, if any, difference it makes for the prints
to be the same size? Most I plan to print 8 X 12, however I wonder if a few 8
X 10 sprinkled in would distract. Anyone have any experience in these
matters? Bill Barber
