Hello Earl,

As I am new to this list, I just took a look at the manhole covers on
your website. Quite wonderful... I love the beauty of industrial
stuff. I once did a project on an abandoned rail yard that serviced
engines and rolling stock. I ended up having a one man show. All
black and white, most (all, I think) on 4x5. Apart from the results
(which I still find fulfilling), the experience was superb, spiritual
even. Your photos communicate your passion for what you are doing.
thanks a lot :) There are times when it just works out sort of....
It all started when I looked for something near my house to do the first
shots with the 2/90. I'd never had the idea before. But the industrial
stuff surely does have it's own beauty. I'm sure your 4x5 pictures are
superb!
Speaking of abandonded rail - I did a little bit with my Zorki in b&w

My personal favorite is no 14 and I just ordered too many ;) rolls of
120 Fuji Acros (never used it before) for my Arax/Kiev to be able to do
more of that kind of stuff.
Can we have a look at your pictures somewhere?
Oh, and welcome :)
cheers
