Don't forget the EOS 300D, with the same sensor as the 10D, but less
capabilities and less rugged construction.
Also, the comments on dpreview talk about the E-1 and the in-flux state of it's
in-camera sharpening and noise-reduction firmware. Olympus may actually get
this camera right.
Unless you NEED to buy something in the next 6-9 months, I'd wait. In the next
12-15 months, there is going to be a LOT of action in the marketplace.
I am not buying anything now, as I don't HAVE to. (OTOH, I just snagged a used
Hassy XPAN that I couldn't pass up). The difference is that the DSLR purchase
will have to do me for several years, as the resale value is s*it, whereas the
Xpan will hold much of it's value for a few years. The allure of an E-1 with
2-3 Digital-Zuiko lenses, supplemented by my OM-System Zuiko's for specialized
applications is a VERY STRONG force.
