Not from NZ, but it is standard practice with inbound parcels to UK that
anything sent by express service (not just DHL, FedEX etc, even if operated
by a publicly owned postal service eg USPS Global Express Mail) gets to pay
a premium price for customs clearance. US$20. PLUS the duty.
IME it is always better to use ordinary airmail - lower cost for the
clearance, and nil if it escapes the net.
