I use lens tissue wrapped around a piece of bamboo which has it's tip ground
down like a minus screwdriver. Dip in denatured alcohol, and lightly wipe
mirror. Camera mirrors are coated on the front surface, so excess pressure
can very easily scratch the reflective coating.
