I can vouch for the Heliopan fiters. One nice thing about the Heliopan
filters is that they have thin mounts that do not vignette with ultra
wide lenses. The only filters I own anymore are Heliopans or Olympus
(which seem to be the only thing that works with the 40 f/2.) I don't
use filters unless I have an identifieble need for one, but it is nice
to know that the filter is not going to markably degrade the performance
of the lens if I do use it.

I'd bet that Heliopan or Hoya MC or others are also of similar quality. I will not put my dollars into no-name or store brands. < This message was delivered via the Olympus Mailing List > < For questions, mailto:owner-olympus@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > < Web Page: http://Zuiko.sls.bc.ca/swright/olympuslist.html > |
