But if you were running MacOS X, you wouldn't need two machines, since you can
run Unix and Photoshop or Excel at the same time! So I guess if it takes TWO
Intel boxes to replace ONE Mac, the Mac isn't really all that expensive, no? :-)

Not quite 3 years, but like Albert says, it only goes down when you do serious
things to the kernel. I think I installed MacOS 10.2 219 days ago. I'll
probably reset the clock when Panther (MacOS 11?) is released this fall.
