Trust me when I say, I've been frustrated with the meter in my Om1n as
well; BUT
Here's a suggestion, and it's a fairly cheap fix..
Remove the lens, put the camera in front of the air conditioner for
about 20 minutes, or turn on the AC in a room, and close the room..
My Meter moved when tapped in Thailand (before 2 rolls later, dying out
completely) and usually due to moisture (So I'm told)...
So.. You might try to "dehumidify" your camera and see if that helps..
