Albert,
with all due respect, if you are "serious" about your
B+W photography, you should develop and print your B+W
films yourself. It's not terribly difficult to learn
the basics, and it gives you so much freedom in terms
of what you can get out of the negatives. In fact,
even what you get INTO the negatives at time of
exposure.
You need not your own private lab. Photoclubs or
like-minded photographers may have one already that
you could maybe join.
I'm sorry that they messed up your films, that's a
terrible loss!
