There was one for sale on ebay about four(?) months ago. I believe Dan
put a bid on it but lost out. It went for an incredible amount of money.
I believe Adorama was still selling colored filters(for B&W) for the
300/2.8 but they didn't have any polarizers listed. There are polarizers
made by other companies that are the right diameter but I don't know if
they would work.
I've heard some people use relatively cheap plastic film that is
polarizing to hold over the front of the lens.
